I’ve been on the topic of money a lot lately. Mostly because I’m amazed at how the ebb and flow of being an entrepreneur can drive and impair the emotions. I always say that working for myself has been the hardest work I’ve ever done. It has also been the most rewarding. With regard to finances and revenue, the roller coaster ride is a trip (pun intended). And the notion of feast or famine is real. Right now, we are eating well! But that wasn’t always the case (there’s an embarrassing confession in my last video post about what I’ve fed my kids..don’t judge).
With all of the ups and downs, God has a way of coming through. It may be at the last minute, but hey. I can’t complain. I want to encourage you to hang in their and know that God has some amazing blessings coming your way!
Here are 10 scriptures to keep you grounded when it comes to making it rain!
And this same God who takes care of me will supply all your needs from his glorious riches, which have been given to us in Christ Jesus. – Philippians 4:19
Honor the LORD with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce. Then he will fill your barns with grain, and your vats will overflow with good wine. – Proverbs 3:9-10
Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you. – Luke 6:38
Wealth from get-rich-quick schemes quickly disappears; wealth from hard work grows over time. – Proverbs 13:11
Give generously to them and do so without a grudging heart; then because of this the LORD your God will bless you in all your work and in everything you put your hand to. – Deuteronomy 15:10
Rest in the LORD and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who carries out wicked schemes. Cease from anger and forsake wrath; Do not fret; it leads only to evildoing. For evildoers will be cut off, But those who wait for the LORD, they will inherit the land. – Psalm 37:7-9
For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. – I Timothy 6:10
Better to have little, with godliness, than to be rich and dishonest. – Proverbs 16:8
He who is faithful in a very little thing is faithful also in much; and he who is unrighteous in a very little thing is unrighteous also in much. Therefore if you have not been faithful in the use of unrighteous wealth, who will entrust the true riches to you? And if you have not been faithful in the use of that which is another’s, who will give you that which is your own? No servant can serve two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and wealth. – Luke 16:10-13
There is one who scatters, and yet increases all the more, And there is one who withholds what is justly due, and yet it results only in want. The generous man will be prosperous, And he who waters will himself be watered. – Proverbs 11:24-25
