I am so excited to announce that I will be a guest speaker at this year’s Sewing Summit, a one-of-a-kind mix between a sewing retreat and a social media/blogging conference taking place in Salt Lake City in September.

The class I’ll be teaching focused on the need for sewing bloggers to invest in personal branding to help set them apart, make them memorable and propel their blogs. Those attending the class will begin to understand the importance of creating a personal brand that is exemplified throughout their sewing blog in order to:
- Differentiate yourself from the hundreds of sewing and DIY blogs out there
- Increase and strengthen your loyal follower base
- Define the personal value you bring to potential sponsors and advertisers
I’ll be working over the next several months to pull together branding resources specifically for these women so they have everything they need at their finger tips. I can’t wait!
